During his childhood, Harvinder faced a severe accident when three fingers on his hand were burnt in hot oil, leaving them permanently affected. Despite these physical challenges, he persevered and dreamed of joining the army but later redirected his aspirations toward the civil services. Harvinder pursued his education in Civil Engineering, earning a B.Tech degree, which laid the foundation for his future career in public service.
