Bhanu Chandra Goswami, an IAS officer from the 2009 Uttar Pradesh cadre, has been transferred to a new position as of September 14, 2024. Born on August 20, 1984, in Sultanpur Village, Ranchi, Uttar Pradesh, Goswami is 40 years old and ranked 33rd in the UPSC Civil Services Examination.
Previously serving as the District Magistrate (DM) of Agra, he has now been appointed as the in-charge relief commissioner, consolidation commissioner, and special secretary, revenue in the Uttar Pradesh Government’s Department of Revenue, based in Lucknow. He replaces Naveen Kumar in this role.
