Hailing from the scenic Nimoo village in Leh, Ladakh, Namgyal Angmo’s early life is rooted in a rich cultural heritage and strong academic background. She attended Moravian Mission School for her primary education and later Lamdon School until her 10th standard. Scholarships enabled her to study at the United World College in Pune, further advancing her education in the United States, where she completed her graduation. Upon returning to India, she pursued a postgraduate degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics. Prior to joining the civil services, Angmo also gained experience in the corporate sector in Bengaluru.
